JOHANNES K. SCHONBERG
Advisor
Born and raised in Washington State, Johannes brings a solid Navy background as a former enlisted nuclear machinist mate and graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) Class of 2007. (One of six enlisted Sailors to be accepted straight to the academy.) On the private side, he transitioned to working at a technology startup and eventually transitioned to founding Bunker Labs Seattle.
During a tour with the Chief of Navy Reserve, he connected with then-Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition James “Hondo” Geurts for mentorship and advice which eventually led to assuming the role as the Northwest Tech Bridge Director at NUWC Keyport Division.
KEITH ARCHBOLD
Director
Keith brings a wide range of Private, Military, and Public Sector Leadership experience. Previous efforts include: Navy Pilot, Semiconductor Industry Tech Executive in Silicon Valley, Commanding Officer, and Chief Technology Officer for Federal Weapons Laboratory
Keith holds a BS from the University of Illinois, A Masters in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California San Diego, and an MBA, with minors in Econometrics and International Business, from the University of San Diego, as well as Post Graduate Work in Materials Science and Human Factors engineering at the Naval Post Graduate School. Keith also co-founded a profitable Green-Tech Company leveraging closed loop material recycling utilizing an innovative capital expenditure strategy that allowed the business to prosper in a historically low margin-operating environment.
RALPH E. DUNCAN
Tech Bridge SBIR Coordinator/Deputy Director
Ralph Duncan is a retired US Navy Engineering Duty Officer with more than forty years of maritime and business experience. He brings a unique blend of experience in leading and coaching technical teams to success in highly challenging, highly focused mission sets.
Following his military career, he transitioned to small business founder, entrepreneur, leadership coach and has held several senior corporate positions such as VP of Marine Engineering and VP of Business Development, and Research Program Manager followed by graduate studies in Entrepreneurship and Innovation through Stanford University.
He now serves as the NW Tech Bridge Coordinator and Deputy Director where he engages with businesses in the PNW ecosystem.
