In a world where maritime security depends on real-time intelligence, AndrenaM is revolutionizing the way we detect, track and respond in naval operations—acting as the central nervous system for marine autonomy.
When AndrenaM approached NW Tech Bridge with a TRL 3 concept for a unified mesh network aimed at enabling real-time sensor streaming for tracking naval operations, they knew they were on to something groundbreaking. They just needed to get it to the finish line.
With support from NW Tech Bridge, AndrenaM gained access to a team of Navy experts, received crucial feedback on their prototype, and had the opportunity to tap into testing facilities and funding opportunities. The partnership also provided essential resources to help the startup prepare for real-world Navy applications.
Leveraging this support, AndrenaM rapidly advanced their technology. By last summer, AndrenaM showcased a TRL 5 prototype with JPEM at PAX River, successfully detecting vehicles in real-time. They are now working on a TRL 6/7 prototype, set to be demonstrated and tested at the May JIFX and Coastal Trident events.
The AndrenaM Platform aims to revolutionize maritime autonomy by creating a global network of persistent, sensor-equipped “Sentinels” that provide continuous monitoring of naval operations. It integrates swarm drones for coordinating large-scale missions and delivering real-time targeting information, while also leveraging cloud technology for advanced data management.
Reflecting on his journey, Matej Cernosek, CEO of AndrenaM, shared:
AndrenaM is building distributed sensing buoys to enhance undersea domain intelligence at scale using modern on- edge processing, communications technologies, and AI for acoustic classification. Our goal is to use these perception networks to inform autonomous undersea systems to effectively achieve their mission in denied environments.
We have concluded 2024 and are starting 2025 with a key set of critical hires
and admission into Project Coastal Trident, which the NW Tech Bridge team helped us get into. As we work on building next generations of the prototypes, we look forward to continued collaboration and partnerships with NavalX.
AndrenaM’s cutting-edge technology is setting a new standard for real-time maritime awareness, with far-reaching implications for naval operations and beyond.
As they continue to push the boundaries of marine autonomy, NW Tech Bridge stands ready to supporting innovators like AndrenaM in navigating the path from breakthrough ideas to mission-ready solutions for the U.S. Navy.
